HOME STAGING
Selling a home in today's environment can be
overwhelming. With the average home in North Florida remaining on the market on average 140 days, Stageworks
Design has a drastically lower record. Ninety-five
percent of the homes we have staged sell in an average of 38
days!
When consider the carrying costs of endless months on
the market, staging your home is the smart thing to do.

• How Much
Does It Cost?
A walk & talk consultation
begins at $150 per hour, during which you are given clear
instructions as to what will make your home sell quickly.
A detailed written report spelling out needed changes is
$350.
A full house
staging can vary depending on the amount of work needed, sizes
of rooms, and whether the home is vacant or occupied. A
quick tour of your home will tell us what is needed.
Staging costs are
substantially less than what your first drop in price will be!
There’s also the possibility that the cost is tax deductible.
(See IRS Publication 523).

•What Is Home
Staging?
Staging is nothing more than making a
home present itself in the best possible light to appeal to the
most number of buyers. The only objective is to get the property
sold for the most money as quickly as possible. It is part design,
part applied psychology and many tricks of the
trade.

|
|
•Why
Stage?
A staged home sells 2-3 times faster
than an unstaged one. They also sell for around 9% more. It
is estimated that only one in ten people can visualize what a
space would look like with their own furnishings in place. A
key to getting your place sold lies in getting your
prospective buyers to form an emotional attachment to it.
Clean, bright and uncluttered rooms give the impression of a
well maintained home that is warm and inviting.

•I spent a
fortune having my home decorated. Why would I have it
Staged?
Staging and interior design are
completely different. Design is very personal and specific to how a
homeowner lives in their space. Home Staging is about
depersonalizing your space, while keeping it warm and
inviting.
Your decorator
hopefully spent a lot of time asking questions about and
studying your lifestyle and how you live in your house. As
difficult as it is for us as designers, we usually have to undo
some of that work to create a neutral, open environment to
appeal to a broader market.

That Why We Hired a Realtor?
Your Realtor probably gave you some
good tips to help sell your home. We work closely with them and
will do all of the things they suggest, and more. They are the
advertising and sales part of the equation. We add another
dimension to the marketing team by creating that emotional
connection between the buyer and your home.
